REMA Training
Career Development - REMA Associates are encouraged to seek continuing education in the real estate industry through our education program which matches funds for Associates seeking industry designation of higher education. Dale Longhurst and Sue Cazier have taught IREM and Apartment Association courses, respectively and both have worked extensively on the IREM Education Programs and uses their experiences to improve the We Realize at REMA that our continued success depends on the performance of our Associates. We decided considerable effort to providing each of our Associates with the opportunity to develop both personally and professionally through a variety of training and education.

Our Associate development programs are continually being evaluated and updated based on the needs of our Residents, Associates, Owners and Vendors. Today, our overall program consists of the following components:

REMA Foundations - This program attempts to train each new Associate by familiarizing the Associate with the company`s mission and vision as well as the company`s beliefs and values. Additionally, Associates are introduced to the tools and resources available to them in their jobs.

Leasing and Management Training - All Property Managers and Leasing Associates attend all or portions of the REMA leasing and management training course during their first 12 months of employment. Our leasing and management training programs apply learning to the five steps of selling.

Maintenance Training - Training is provided to Maintenance Technicians in a "hand-on" classroom situation. Maintenance Associations receive specific instruction and required certifications in HVAC systems, appliance repair, facilities management and other related areas.

Cross training - REMA Associates have had the opportunity to experience many facets of the property management business through our Cross Training program. Associates have had the opportunity to spend time with various disciplines within the organization. This exercise proves to be an exceptional method for team development.
